It’s been a busy 4 days since my last post. Over the weekend, I had a total of 3 auditions and 2 shoots for Tisch students. It’s been quite an interesting journey thus far, and I’ve been a full-time freelance actor for a grand total of 16 days!
Yesterday, I finally went to get my headshots done. The finalised copies will be with me in about 2 weeks’ time, so here’s a preview of my make-up & hair yesterday.
After I wrote my previous entry, a torrent of rain surrounded my house.
As I’ve written before, I love rainy weather. So suddenly, I had this incredible feeling that I wanted to enjoy the moment. Closing the door, I draw up the blinds, turn off the lights, and sit in my cushioned chair, watching the rain fall outside. The sky is not completely dark, but rather, a stormy purple colour. Lightning flashes across the sky, as a loud rumble of thunder echoes through the night.
The beautiful music of the rain in the silence...Read more

Today, my parents said they wanted to have a dinner with me in the next 2 weeks. They want to discuss my future plans with me. Everytime my parents say that, I feel unbelievably frustrated and irritated.
When I was in JC & Uni, it was okay. At that time, I was following the set path… On the way to having a good degree & good career. I was like the model Singaporean child, having successfully navigated the Singapore education...Read more
Since August 10, I’ve been mulling over an idea in my mind. The idea of taking off from Singapore, and going to Taiwan to develop my acting career. Since that conversation with my team-mate, and her suggestion that I join the church there while advancing my career, I’ve been thinking. Sometimes, it seems like two factions in my mind are warring against each other.
