I went for an audition today and didn’t do myself justice.
I know the role is for a 30+ year old woman and I probably have a very slim chance of landing it, but I still feel I let myself down. I meant to prepare for the audition yesterday but I never got around to doing it & I had a bad start to this morning.
Losing focus on the journey & it’s getting really tiring. I know it’s normal to get rejections from auditions, but I feel a lot of the time, it’s because I’m not focussing and giving my best. And that feeling sucks....Read more
I watched it! I went to watch “Harry Potter & The Half-blood Prince” tonight & I’m absolutely totally psyched! You naysayers can critique all you like… I’m a Harry Potter fan & I’ve been waiting ages for this film to be screened. I just want to say, “I love you, Tom Felton & Rupert Grint!” (That’s Draco Malfoy & Ron Weas...Read more
Did you catch the Asian Youth Games Opening Ceremony on 29 Jun, 7p.m., Channel 5? Like how Abraham kept moving on even as he waited for the promise of God to come to pass. He travelled round and came back to the place between Bethel & Ai, w...Read more
Earlier this month, I completed yet another independent short film – “Voiceless Screaming” . The production team consisted of a group of recent graduates from Ngee Ann Polytechnic Film & Media Studies, and it was a joy working with them.
A romantic comedy about a motivational speaker who, essentially, loses his voice & has to re-discover life again.
Well, something like that. Haha. When I went for the audition, the director, Wang Dexian, told me he was looking for something similar to
“Knocked U...Read more
Did two short films under the Sinema Incubator Programme last year.
For “CUBIK” , I was the lead character, Alex. I got to work with many cool people, and a production team with talents from Thailand, Australia, India & the United States. This 36-minute action suspense film noir is still in post-production, and we have an awesome soundt...Read more
Yesterday, I just completed filming for “9:35″.
