Having a conversation with a close friend of mine, JH, on MSN now. He’s encouraging me, giving me big dreams about performing, about giving him backstage passes etc. But I refrain from having such big dreams & fantasies. I just want to take it a step at a time.
So I told him, “Still far to go, I think.”His reply?
If there’s a distance, then it can be covered.
Better than if you cannot even imagine it…
Then no distance, nothing to cover, nowhere to go.- JH, September 22, 2008
Wow. Talk about dream-builders.
Nowadays, I’m essentially self-employed, so I need lots of motivation to do work. Most crucially, I need to find more monologues & practise more monologues, but I just can’t get myself moving.
I need people to poke me! Haha. JH offered to poke me, for a fee of $2 per day. But he’s doing it free-of-charge now, in exchange for more benefits in the future. Hahahaha.
So now I’m looking to hire more “Pokers”. Anyone interested?
