I was blessed with both lunch & dinner yesterday. Even though I had to eat out, different people gave me treats. And I am thankful for that. I am also thankful for the free taxi ride I got to my tuition place yesterday.
Financially, I am not doing very well now. But I pray this will be a financially abundant year for me, so that I will not live in lack, and I will have more than enough to bless others. Now, I sometimes feel my hands tied down, because I want to give to others, but have not enough for myself.

The main highlight of today was re-watching “梁祝” (The Butterfly Lovers). I watched it years ago - the version featuring Nicky Wu (吴奇隆) & Charlie Yeung (杨采妮).
Even though I haven’t watched the new version featuring Wu Zun & Charlene Choi, I still feel the Nicky-Charlie version is awesome. The emotions, the forbidden feelings, the true love … It’s a truly touching story.

Today I agonised over a e-mail reply. A reply which did not come. A lost assignment. Lost income. Then I questioned myself: “Am I very silly? I think my friends don’t get it when I sigh over.. or am sad over my acting assignments.”
My very close friend said: “ I just wanna believe there’ll be more coming your way…”

So Christmas eve dawned. I spent Christmas eve & Christmas Day in church. Served at all three Jurong West services, doing Mains. I love doing Mains.. A break from being the I/C is good. Haha. I think I’m better at the actual operations than overseeing.. Oops.

Starting with the stage play, “Ri-gret” , on Sunday (21 Dec) at Republic Poly TRCC, Black Box Theatre. Thank you, Wenfu & Meifung, for coming down to watch. Even though it was only a half-hour performance, I really appreciate your presence. And Fanella too!
After my trip to Australia, I came back expecting to be refreshed & ready to start work again. Instead, I found myself being very frustrated with the state of my life & career. Too many times I’ve been through this cycle of wanting to give up & being discouraged, disappointed & depressed.

Taken quite a few photos & my mum remarks that my calling is to be a historian - because nothing can stop me from documenting the events of the day. Not even when I was down with motion sickness & throwing up yesterday. Even when I was feeling sick, I was still taking photos. Hahaha.
But I’m better now. Just have to remember to take my anti-vomiting pills before we go on a longer car journey this Friday.
