Last Saturday was the 2nd annual Halloween party for AliveNotDead. It was a really awesome turnout(jammed to the walls again!) and the costumes were fabulous. When we started this website a couple years ago we were trying to build a community of creative like minded people and although we've done that here with this site, you really feel it when attending one of our functions. Poker King is a new movie starring Luis Koo and Lau Ching Wan about the exciting game of Texas Hold 'Em poker. Now I've been seeing this ad in the South China Morning Post for the past several days. I'm not sure if it's the theater's fault or South China's typo but either way, it's funny.

Been very very busy working like a dog but I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who sent me birthday wishes. My guestbook almost blew up with over 30 pages of birthday comments! This is a great mash up of rock band MGMT and the "intelligent" rapper Kid Cudi. Hadn't heard the song before I caught this on my favorite show David Letterman the other day. Now I have the album.
