This week is getting quite busy, we had 5 people stop by the office yesterday... after making a trip to the dive shop to replace the glove I lost last weekend while diving (and grab dinner), I went back to work for a few more hours and studied the wonderful world of web databases.
But in lieu of taking the time to do a real blog (a few in the queue, don't worry), here's a humorous diversion:

They had a variety of performers lined up, in this case two guys on stilts. 宴会でたくさん出演者が居た。
Friday afternoon I gave my talk (with a pretty good reception, I was impressed with the turnout, especially considering it was the last session of the last day!)
That night they had a ' Night Safari' Trip that was included in the cost of the conference, dinner was included too apparently (between the banquets and what not, you DID get a lot for your money compared to most conferences).

The conference I am at is pretty expensive as far as these things go, registration is US$500 per person, luckily for me I was able to get the university to pay for it before my contract ended. Some conferences are this expensive or more, but don't include any food, fortunately this one is quite decent as far as meals go...
