Here's the 2nd part of the dive we did last Sunday. このブログ 先週日曜日のスキューバダイビングの第二部です。
After the first dive on the barge (and the vomitting incident(s) ), we went over to a reef area off of Kahala, in Maunalau Bay... And then the nubes got ready to dive:
On Sunday a bunch of us (12 in all) took a scuba diving trip. 9 of us were licensed divers and three other friends came along to do an intro lesson dive. Frequent Etchy blog readers will recall that I've been going diving quite a bit this past few months. Four of us from AnD got our licenses in HK in August specifically to prepare for our Hawaii trip... and I also got my underwater camera case too, so needless to say I was really looking forward to the trip.

part 7?! wait a sec... if this was a seven day trip... and i was blogging once a day... that would mean this is the last day of the trip! doh!
we're heading to the airport at 5am (which is about 4 hours from now!)
today we didn't do that much, got a late lunch at a 'local' restaurant and hit up some shops (i spent the whole time at border's reading about 'Iron Man' the movie and 'Heroes'...)
so tired! its like 4am...
another action packed day of fun and sun here in Hawaii...
During the day we took a sail boat trip, it was pretty good... but you'll have to wait for the pictures! ;-)
and then at night we hit up the Finishing the Game screening... Roger and Dustin were maning the store for the Q & A:

oh man, way too much to blog about! Some of us went to Hanaouma Bay for snorkeling this afternoon - pretty fun. I don't want to spoil it w/ any teasers, so you'll have to wait til i get back to HK and have a chance to compile a full blog entry.
Then next thing i know its time for the THK screening and then our after party. On the way there we picked up the AnD contest winner Link.

water conditions were great for visibility, not so great for not having seasickness. :-P

Sorry guys, no time to blog, i need to get to sleep, but day 3 was good. by shear force of will and determination, I forced everyone to get up and out of the house at a resonable hour....
we went up to Kailua Beach ( wikipedia) - which is apparently one of the best beaches in the world... i wouldn't say it was /that/ amazing, but the sand was nice and fine and clean. and the water was warm and the surf wasn't too rough.

sorry guys, no pictures today! things were pretty hectic today, i spent way too much time on the phone with some incompetent dumbasses at a particular online travel website...
everyone else went to the beach, but by the time i finished and started to head down there, they were coming back. doh!!!
two days in hawaii and i still haven't gone in the water! waaah!
the good news was Sunday's scuba trip looks like it will be AWESOME!
i'll try to take some pictures tomorrow.... stay tuned.
By the time you read this, I'll probably be basking on a beach in Waikiki with a Corona like in those commercials.... (ok, maybe not two major things wrong with that image). But I've post-dated this entry so you'll get your Etchy fix...
It took me forever to finish! but finally I have put up my K-1 Hong Kong pictures and Video! You may recall that this event was actually held in HK over two months ago... but because I took so much video, it took me a long time to actually finish this! :-P
