In Singapore. I flew in late last night...
ITs a bit like HK, but less crowded (more like the NT I suppose). but I haven't seen much except for the inside of the conference center since this morning. Its still pretty hot outside though, i've never been this close to the equator before...
BUT I think I should have picked a better neighborhood for my hotel... I am afraid to walk back there after dark...

After work on Monday a bunch of us got together and had an impromptu Going Away dinner for Andrew. We got some good Pho at a Vietnamese place in Central... during dinner the conversation turned to what we should do afterwards, someone suggested a final poker game before Andrew leaves... so we did.

Its been pretty busy the last two days. I'm flying to Singapore for a conference tonight, so there's a lot of stuff to get done before I go. I'll try to write up a few blogs on the plane (IF i finish writing my slides before my battery dies).

Bob and I went to CWB after work and I picked up my new camera from the store... our favorite staff member 'McC@rtnex' was working the counter and remembered us from last weekend.
I got he Canon IXUS 75.... which is known in the US as the SD750, and known in Japan as the IXY90... (why can't they just use one name!?)
Its a pretty nice design. I've always been a fan of using my camera to show old pics to friends, so the big LCD is nice.

Last night Josie did a kind of strange performance in Causeway Bay... it was the grand opening for a new Quiksilver store. In addition to some fancy party up the street, they also had Josie do a performance at the store. They had a very small stage area set up on their store's balcony.
