For our animal-themed exhibition The Cat that Eats Diodes, island6 has been cavorting with beasts great and small. Here’s a photo montage of our dog/ cat/ rabbit/ fish-whispering efforts. Us folks at island6 are nothing but opportunistic, so when a troupe of awesome acrobats popped into our studio one day, we pounced. The more persuasive amongst us convinced Nicolas Montes de Oca to get his shirt off and do some pretty cool moves on an old wooden stool.
An overcast sky and chilly wind did not get in the way of island6′s feline-fatale.

Next weekend SURGE Shanghai art fair will be showcasing some of Liu Dao’s artworks along with other contemporary artist’s work from all over China. The fair will take place on the 20th and 21st of October from 10:00am to 8:00pm in the River South Art Center, 1247 Nan SuZhou Road (near Xinzhao Road).
