After you see the end, see the beginning. The Release of the long-awaited Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull fills a nearly 20-year gap since Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade thrilled audiences in 1989.
In the meantime, the fans grew restless with the wait and grew...Read more
I had to share this comic, Secret Asian Man, which I am totally addicted to. I just read this and realized that I have written a new musical genre, hip-hop with violins and piano, lol.
Here's an mp3 of a hip hop score that I wrote for an award-winning short film called Hit Me, which aired on Showtime's Black Filmmaker Showcase last year. You'll hear several tracks of viola (with light distortion)...Read more

I just found out I have a short film screening this Saturday, April 26th at the Newport Beach Film Festival. It's screening at 4pm as part of the LMU Showcase. I'm hoping to have time to get away from my work to go check out the screening, cause it's one of the best written and executed short fil...Read more
I've posted a new track, entitled WORLD OF MUSIC. It's a cool mish mash of different musical styles. I originally wrote it as a demo for a TV gig, which I didn't get, but I had a ton of fun writing it, and got to collaborate with some awesome musicians.
Featuring:
on Turntables - DJ Hawk (aka Adam Hawk)
on Guitars - Eugene Huang ( myspace.com/eugenehuang)
on Vocals - Sue Jin ( my...Read more
I recently uploaded on youtube, some scenes that I scored while studying film scoring at USC and another that I scored during the ASCAP film scoring workshop. I'm surprised it's already been four years since I did these. Hope you enjoy seeing my take on these scenes.
Here's a scene from JIMMY NEUTRON, that I did during the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop. Star Wars was a big influence, and I figured it'll be a long time before I ever get another opportunity to write a big Star Wars-ish type of sci-fi score and decided to go ...Read more

Usually I blog about my music and film work...my personal life basically consists of sitting in front of a computer and writing music. But at the moment, I am in Shanghai, relaxing my tired feet after a long day of walking around seeing the sites.
So the last few days I was in Beijing, and got to see the Great Wall,
For all you Indiana Jones fans, and film score fans, I am seeking donations to help with the recording of the score for Treasure of the Templars, the upcoming feature-length Indiana Jones Fan Film and exciting new prequel to the Raiders of the Lost Ark. The film is a labor of love from dedicated Indy fans, and will be released around the end of May, after Indiana Jones 4 comes out.
As a composer, writing in the style of John Williams is both an honor and a dream come true. I remember the Last Crusade as one of my earliest experi...Read more
I just found out that THE REVENGERS (for which I was nominated for Best Score for a Student FIlm in the 2007 Film and TV Music Awards), has now been nominated in the Top 20 at the Yubari International Student Film Festival. It's a martial arts film that takes place in a future apocalyptic world overrun with zombies, that was fun to work on!
It's one of the coolest scores I've ever written, full of epic orchestral themes and traditional Japanese instruments. I even recorded Taiko drums in my living room....whi...Read more
