I just found out that THE REVENGERS (for which I was nominated for Best Score for a Student FIlm in the 2007 Film and TV Music Awards), has now been nominated in the Top 20 at the Yubari International Student Film Festival. It's a martial arts film that takes place in a future apocalyptic world overrun with zombies, that was fun to work on!
It's one of the coolest scores I've ever written, full of epic orchestral themes and traditional Japanese instruments. I even recorded Taiko drums in my living room....which kinda pissed off a neighbor. Those things are LOUD, but so fun to play. I'm planning to release some of this score in an upcoming album later this year.
Watch the film here (the video wouldn't play when I tried it, hopefully it works now):

The site is in Japanese, but you will find the movie listed as #17, you can also search for the title in English, "The Revengers." It's right beneath this photo:
You can then vote for the film here:
http://www.yubarifilm.com/2008/second/form.html Just put your name in the first box, and put the movie number “17” in the second box.
And then, click “send” (written in Japanese. It is just beneath the second box.). You can watch and vote by February 17th (U.S time).
