I just found out I have a short film screening this Saturday, April 26th at the Newport Beach Film Festival. It's screening at 4pm as part of the LMU Showcase. I'm hoping to have time to get away from my work to go check out the screening, cause it's one of the best written and executed short films I've worked on, and some of the other shorts on the program look pretty cool too.

Just months before the Apollo 11 spaceship is scheduled to take off, NASA discharges astronaut Michael Collins from the mission, leaving the glory to Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. He struggles between his opportune loss and soon after the betrayal of a nation when he discovers that the trip to the moon never left the studio. Collins is confronted by NASA and is bribed to keep his knowledge of the conspiracy quiet. He backs down and signs away his rights to the mission, a decision that breaks his spirit and marks the beginning of an everlasting lie.
