losing focus.

I went for an audition today and didn’t do myself justice.

I know the role is for a 30+ year old woman and I probably have a very slim chance of landing it, but I still feel I let myself down. I meant to prepare for the audition yesterday but I never got around to doing it & I had a bad start to this morning.

Losing focus on the journey & it’s getting really tiring. I know it’s normal to get rejections from auditions, but I feel a lot of the time, it’s because I’m not focussing and giving my best. And that feeling sucks.

It takes a lot of hard work, and I’m not putting in the hours I should. It’s time to re-focus and re-gather my thoughts before I crash & burn. I’ve pushed aside all appointments these two days, and plan to pray, plan & prepare. 3Ps. 

When opportunity comes your way, you have to be ready for it.

Lesson learnt.
