I watched it! I went to watch “Harry Potter & The Half-blood Prince” tonight & I’m absolutely totally psyched! You naysayers can critique all you like… I’m a Harry Potter fan & I’ve been waiting ages for this film to be screened. I just want to say, “I love you, Tom Felton & Rupert Grint!” (That’s Draco Malfoy & Ron Weasley, by the way.)
Haven’t blogged for what seems like ages… Two weeks! I’ve been busy with designing, teaching, tutoring & ministry. I’m trying to pick myself up in my acting career as well.. To re-motivate, re-focus, re-dream. Thankful for the financial blessings in my life though… Thank God.
Anyway, I booked the tickets for “Harry Potter” one week ago, the day the advance booking opened. I knew it would be full house everywhere… And I was anxious to catch the movie before I left for Kuala Lumpur this weekend. I want to watch the movie again! It was funny… touching… poignant at times. They made use of pregnant pauses very well – that is, pauses that are full of meaning, as opposed to pausing for the sake of pausing. If you get what I mean. Watch it!
During the end of the movie, when Draco was running away, I felt so so so sorry for him. He is so pitiful.
Another reason for my England mania this week is MANCHESTER UNITED . I’m going to Kuala Lumpur to watch them play a friendly ( trashing) against the Malaysian team. Sad that Ronaldo was sold at the end of last season…. But I’m hoping to catch my next favourite player, Nemanja Vidic.
Also looking forward to a few days off.
I’m appearing in the Channel 8 drama currently showing at 9p.m. on weekdays… “难兄烂弟” (My Buddy). Nothing big… Playing Ann, Zhu Houren’s secretary in the show – the regular kaypoh information-giver. But it’s a good opportunity. And I’m thankful for it. I’ve bigger scenes in the 11th & 12th episodes, if I remember correctly. Short scenes, with more lines. Haha.
Performing at Hark Music – Performing Studio next Saturday, 3p.m. Guitar & Vocals for “我不想忘记你” & “小乌龟”. Do stop by if you can.
Still working towards my dream, and believing.
Keep on going, and the chances are that you will
stumble on something, perhaps when you are least expecting it.
I never heard of anyone ever stumbling on something sitting down. ~Charles F. Kettering
