Wow,
Yesterday I just experienced a miracle. I just saw 30 people from church praying inside and worshipping.
The bible says, “Ask Anything in my name, and I’ll give it to you.”
Last year I asked God to have church inside the club. I just got my wish.
Go Jesus!
It’s late, but I was just thinking about the idea of self-control. How God is not a controlling God. How He gives us the free will and power to control our own lives. Nor should we expect God to “control” our lives.
How He “leads” us besides still waters. Kinda like how a Father might shout, “STOP!!!” if He sees his son walking towards danger, or how he might take his hand to cross the street.
Over a year ago, I prayed to God asking Him to plant a church inside of Luxy. My heart was to see the city transformed. It was to see God meet his people in the places where they were at. That God would take a place where people get drunk on alcohol, and turn it into a place where people will be filled with the Holy Spirit. March 6th 2009, my birthday wish was to see church happening inside a club.
Jan 4th 2010 Luxy will be holding it's first prayer meeting.
God is GOOD. I love you Jesus.

My good friend's family started a business based on a dream from God. They had no previous knowledge, or connections in this industry. All they had was the mom's dream. They took dream and put it to use. Sure enough there business was a success. They had humble beginnings, but today their business has grown into fairly large company. God has still been a part of the company all along the way. I'm amazed at this testimony, because it breaks all ideas and concepts of how business "should" be run. I've grown up w/ ...Read more
If a relationship is based on fear, then there will be a performance oriented spirit.
If I am afraid of losing a relationship, my motive will be based on what I can DO to make things work rather than just BEing myself.
That's why marriage is so powerful. It is a covenant based on dying to oneself and living for your other half, till death do us part, for sick and in health. If you're in a relationship that is merely co-habiting, your mentality will be based on control.
For example, if this person doesn't make m...Read more
During my qt, I was super convicted about my bible reading attitude. Just thinking about the gospels alone and how short they are, the authors mustve wrote down the things that they felt were CRUCIALLY important. They chose specific events in the life of JESUS... to record. Let me say that again, they wrote down for followers like you and me events of our Lord and Savior that they deemed so important for us to read. Many times I choose what and where I want to read. Or I read it just as a daily devotional. If I recorded an event that...Read more
1And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness 2for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing during those days. And when they were ended, he was hungry. 3The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread." 4And Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone.'"

I just watched Will Smith's Wisdom on Youtube.
Everything he said seems to come straight out of the bible.
Believe, faith, no fear, words becoming reality...
Isn't that so God? That he spoke the world into being?
Take action for your life.
I know I can do All things through Christ.
We talk in the church about going from glory to glory. What does that glory look like?
What does it mean to be created in the image of God?
I'm so tired of spiritual lingo...
I once met man ...Read more
"Nothing is as real as a dream.
The world can change around you,
but your dream will not.
Responsibilities need not erase it.
Duties need not obscure it.
Because the dream is within you,
no one can take it away."

I prayed for a coworker a couple months back.
She was having problems at home...
We chatted in the lunch room, I invited the Holy Spirit.
The other lady in the room felt like she was going to cry.
Today I asked her how it went after I prayed, and she said it's been DRASTICALLY
different. She said that things at home are a lot different and she never thanked me for it.
I told her to pray more, and give thanks to God.
C'mon! Read more
