"Nothing is as real as a dream.
The world can change around you,
but your dream will not.
Responsibilities need not erase it.
Duties need not obscure it.
Because the dream is within you,
no one can take it away."
-Citrus College
God's been speaking to me about identity these last few weeks and it's been painful.
"Who are you Ed?"
I came back from Taiwan with the intentions on seeing healing in my family. I spent those first couple months loving furiously and without any remorse. Now I've moved out, and I don't see them anymore and I'm in a place where I seemed to have to lost vision and purpose.
Which goes back to this niffty quote that I just saw on the Citrus College website. Dreams...
Ah... I love dreams. So many things that I want to do and so little time. So many options that I it's hard for me to decide. The other day my mom suggested that I go travel. Specifically to Spain in order to learn Spanish so that I can be her little slave forever in the toy sweatshop that she owns. j/k. Sounds tempting...
"where your treasure lies, so is your heart." or something like that.
As I was pondering on this verse, I started to think about where do my treasures lie and I realized I am such an music equipment slut.
Yeah! I just answered the question...
Love = No Fear
