I actually don't know who this guy is, but I really want to know.

It was interesting because I commented to my friend that he holds his card like a magician - the dead give away is the way the fingers stretch out to stay out of the way of the card - and then the single handed flip out. Well, I did some research and low and behold.. It might be... Either this is Joel Bauer or this is a guy making a joke with/about him. Joel Bauer who apparently did perform as a magician and then became tony robbins like motivational speaker, an "infotainer" in his own words. I think he walks a very thin line of joking and creating a personality illusion and actually trying to offer some marketing/inspirational information. It's an interesting angle and it's interesting I would post this right after posting about "Ken Tanaka." Whatever the truth, I find him hilarious.

I think I've watched this video like 12 times today. I find it exteremely cathartic. I actually looked up a little of his book on google, it's interesting, I'm going to read it. "How to Persuade People Who Don't Want to Be Persuaded."

...hm... I'm wondering if people don't realize that what I love about this is how funny it is. But I think he's joking on a certain level too, though I can't guarantee that.

I love this, despite how hilariously obnoxious he sounds. How about an element of truth, expressed with hyperbole and laced with good showmanship to produce entertainment =)

This has to be a joke, right?! Bloody hilarious. It took 25 years (of his life) to be effective - hahaha!

My favorite things about this piece keep changing. I watched a bunch of his other videos and nothing compares to this one. I love the timing of "This is the most impressive card I've ever seen in my life - it's mine." But now I'm starting to love how he's saying sentences int he beginning which barely even make sense, yet selling them with such conviction.
