Vans Store Opening in MK

Last night I went to the Van's Store opening in Mongkok's Langham Place - there was quite a crowd hanging around the entrance -

a lot of peopel were watching Sam Lee aka DJ Becareful Lee DJing the festivities. 

it was kind of funny to see him DJing inside of a mall, but then again I saw him DJing at a car show last time. :-P

While talking to Ryan, I noticed a familiar shape I hadn't seen in a LONG LONG time (like more than 20 years).  In the display case inside the store labelled 'legends'  they have three old school boards, I immediately recognized two of them from my youth:

yes, on the right that is a Christian Hosoi (hypothetically original) board.  If you haven't heard what he's been up for the last 20 years, check out his wikipedia! stay off the drugs kids! Next to that is a classic Steve Caballero.

Anyway,  congrats to Vans!
