Asian Motor Sports Expo 2009 in Hong Kong

On Saturday  I went out to the Asia World Expo Center's parking lot, next to the HK Airport for the ' Asian Motor Sports Expo 2009',  which was a combination of car show and exhibition for motorsports related enthusiasts.    They had a day time session and a night time session,  I went biking in the afternoon and went for the night time sessions.

It was kind of spread out,  in one section they had some cars on display,  most of them weren't anything spectacular (mind you in HK you can see Ferraris any day of the week if you stand in the right place long enough). 

Some things were more interesting for their rarity:

Where the hell do you get a 1981 Trans Am in Hong Kong?  (which is right hand drive!? WTF!)

again,  a DeLorean to Hong Kong!  Its rare in general nowadays,  much less out here in Asia.

They needed more lighting for most of the cars, but this one came w/ its own lighting...

Wait, there's a girl standing next to that one...  a race queen! :-P

Speaking of 'race queens' (aka Car Models):

Because there were not that many people here,   the ratio of guys to girls (aka Guys to Race Queens) was not bad. :-P

At 9 they did a drifting exhibition... its hard to get drifting on camera well:
