Last week while HK was hit by typhoon signal number 9 I thought for sure everything was going to get cancelled but thankfully nobody got spooked and the shows went on. Big ups to Soler & Swing for doing a great job and thanks to Patrick Lee, Raffi, Ophilia for hooking us up with Fall Out Boy tickets. Dope @ Twitter Fall Out Boy at the Venitian Macau. Apparently they didn't fly in from Shanghai until later that afternoon so we weren't sure if the show was still on until the last minute.Patrick Stump can sing like there's no tomorrow! They sounded pretty good live.Pete Wentz getting all hardcore and personal.A little bit of crowd surfing went on but I think if they had the show in a smaller venue they would've been more crazy. This was my first time watching Mister. They did a good job opening and will be playing with our good friends Rubberband this friday. On the way out I bumped in to FOB drummer Andy HurleyThe night before while it was still typhoon signal number 3 we saw Eric Kwok and Jerald Chan reunite as SWING. They played a bunch of new songs, some old favorites, and had Conroy plus Alan Tam join in. Check out their new album that comes out next monthOn the way to Swing I got a call from Soler's Dino who said they were playing The Underground around 11:30pm so afterwards I stopped by. The guys played a six song set and got the crowd jumping while the weather got worse and tuned in to typhoon signal no.9! Good times.
