Just got back from the Comeback Kid show tonight and it was awesome. It was great seeing my local heroes King Ly Chee and Embryo rock out and represent HK (sorry to the guys in Shepherds The Weak cause I lagged and got there late). This was my second show at the pier and the crowd was going crazy (people were even hanging from the rafters!). I was also stoked to be a judge with Paul Wong and Audiotraffic for the LKF band search yesterday too. All the bands played great and I was pleasantly surprised by everyone's unique style and songwriting. From what I heard the Beerfest is going to have some good music for sure.
Comeback Kid killing it on their last tour stop here in HK!
King Ly Chee! Riz took over vocal duties and it sounded great. This was their last show in HK until they get their new songs done and I'm sure it'll blow minds.
Keep your eyes out for Embryo! Good stuff indeed.
The first band up in the band search was FBI. This my first time watching them and they kicked things off into high gear. Wow!
D'in and Crazimals! These guys got the goods.
The last band of the day was Eccentric and they had their amps turned all the way up to 11! Loud goodness. You can check out more pics of that day here.
I'm heading off to Kuala Lumpur again to check out the What's Good? store opening on the 1st. Come on down if you're in town and also check out the Hip-Hop after party with 24 Herbs, Jin, BBB, and DJ G. You can only imagine how crazy that will be....
