So yesterday we finally did the live Oscar show on Star Movies. I say finally because this was one month in the making and yesterday it finally happened. Thank you to everyone who made it happen, and let me tell you it took an entire village to make it happen. It was nerve wracking and just downright scary but we managed to do it without any catastrophic happenings, no F-bombs dropped (at least not from us in Hong Kong, hehe wink wink Melissa Leo), and no blacked out screens. My two co-hosts, Stevie Wong and Jason Godfrey, were absolutely amazing and although we did have a few uncomfortable moments in the beginning, we all made it through in the end with our jobs intact :-D.

A very special shout out goes to Christie, our stylist for the shoot, who miraculously got me changed into 8 outfits throughout the show, and enabled me to at least tie with Anne Hathaway in the race to fabulousness. I personally thought that Anne Hathaway was outstanding at the Oscar's. She was beautiful, funny and extremely entertaining. At the Governor's Ball after party she said in an interview that when she asked Billy Crystal for some hosting advice, he has hosted the Oscar's 8 times after all, all he told her was have fun and make sure to make it  look like she wanted to be there. And boy she did a great job at doing both. James Franco on the other hand...well let's just stop at saying that Anne Hathaway did a great job and James Franco was just...there. All in all I had a great time, but truth be told, I am sooooo happy that i don't need to think about the Oscar's for another year. I think I'll be sticking to music for a while.

So I am now on my way to interview the ever so cute and bubbly Lenka to talk to her about her life and music, and I get to do it wearing just one dress. It's like a vacation! Here's a photo of the 3 of us just before the live show started yesterday. And yes, Jason is putting on his, "I am an intelligent and interesting host face". And by the way, this guy is one of the funniest people I have ever worked with. Well done Jason! I'm so glad I was the one who got to pop your 4 hour long live show cherry! Hahaha! Hope to do it again some time! Oh, and Stevie, well Stevie is now an award winning journalist, so thanks for bringing the credibility to the show!

昨天﹐我們終於完成了電影頻道Star Movies 的奧斯卡直播節目。我說' 終於' 因為我們用了一個月時間籌備節目﹐而昨天終於實行了。感謝所有有份實行這次節目的人﹐我也坦白跟你說﹐這次節目動用了全村人。雖然當 時非常緊張﹐簡直是很害怕﹐但我們還能無驚無險地完成工作﹐沒有粗話 ( 起碼我們在香港沒有了﹐嘻嘻﹐眨眨眼梅莉莎·李歐) ﹐還有沒有黑的銀幕。與我一起的另外兩位主持人﹐Stevie Wong 和Jason Godfrey ﹐實在是贊不絕口。雖然我們起初有幾次令人尷尬的時刻﹐但我們都很順利完成了節目﹐還能保著自己的飯 碗 :-D

很想特別感謝Christie ﹐我們錄制時的造型師﹐因為在整個節目中﹐她奇跡般地讓我換了8套 不同的服裝﹐還能夠使我與安妮·海瑟薇在最美麗的造型比賽打成平手。其實﹐我本人認為安妮·海瑟薇在奧斯卡頒獎典禮的表現非常優秀。她很美又有趣﹐並且很 有娛樂性。她赴頒獎典禮後的總督晚宴時﹐接受訪問的時候說﹐當她向比利·克里斯托請教一些關於做司儀的看法﹐畢竟他當了奧斯卡主持 人8 次了﹐他只說要玩得開心﹐還有記住看起來時要像她想在這裡。她真能把這兩件事辦好。但另一方面﹐詹姆斯·弗朗 科... 不如我們只說安妮·海瑟薇做得很好﹐而詹姆斯·弗朗科他....是在場的。總而言之﹐當節目主持真是很愉快﹐但坦白跟大家說﹐雖然我是很高興﹐但我想我下年才要再思考奧斯卡頒獎典禮。我想我會有一段時間專注音 樂。

現在﹐我正在去採訪可愛開朗又天真活潑的蘭卡﹐與她談談她的生活和音樂。而且﹐我只需要穿着一套裙。好像放假一 樣! 這是我們三個在昨天節目直播之前的照片。對啊﹐Jason 正在顯現他的" 我很聰明和有趣的主持樣子" 。還有﹐順便說說﹐這傢伙是與我合作過之中最搞笑的人。做得好﹐Jason!
