Kronenbourg 1664 launched in LKF last night, and I was invited along with the other artists to attend the media event.
K1664 asked 3 artists and 2 design houses to come up with a series of work that is used as Mobile Art advertising the brand, they also produced a range of products using the art from beer glasses to coasters to round tables, etc.
Here is some of my stuff up around California Tower in Lan Kwai Fong.
Each artist was invited up to answer some questions about their designs. I've never had so many people take my picture at once. I went blind from all the flashes. Intimidating!!
At the end we posed for pictures with all the designers, as well as 3 models covered in body paint. Those girls were hot.
This one is right next to Lux on the corner of the California Tower building.
View from inside Dolce Vita 97. You notice the big one on the top left?
This is the glass with my stuff on it.
They even printed my name on it!
These are the coaster designs, mine on the left, the middle by Pierre-Yves Hetroit, and the one on the right byCraig Au Yeung! I actually have all of Au Yeung's published books, even though I can't read Chinese. Very cool! I got to meet these designers involved with the project, including the people fromGraphic Airlines!
This is the namecard from Graphic Airlines. It's so kickass!! A plane ticket!
Anyways, if you're in LKF, look out for the stuff! And while you're at it go grab a pint of Kronenbourg, or a bottle (designed by Phillipe Starck!!). It's a pretty darn tasty beer.
UPDATE:
Someone at the Carlsberg PR team was nice enough to send me a picture of the models that night!! JJ is in the middle. o_o;;;;;;;;
