Gigi Edgely, David Franklin, Ponch, Tony Todd, Tori Amos, Matt Mullins, Paul Rapovski, and Flitz were all here, and some came to our booth. We sold out of Undercut.
On Friday at Comic-con we arrived early to avoid the surprise of early-comers breaking through the doors 30 minutes before the scheduled opening. We were able to wander about and take some photos, and once the flood gates opened we hurried back to the booth again. Business was about as good as Thursday’s.
We ended up meeting Zachary Quinto (”Sylar”) from Heroes, Breckin Meyer, Mick Foley, “Flash Gordon” Sam Jones, and Zach Selwyn from Attack of the Show.
Thursday was the official “first day” of Comic-con, and it was already insane. The crowd was so thick we could barely get through the front doors to our booth. It was so packed they actually let people in early because the lines outside were getting so huge, and now we know we’re going to have to get to the convention early so we don’t have an empty booth.
We played some more of Namco’s Soul Calibur and saw Bao Tran’s film “Bookie”. Some of the fine folks we met were William Katt, his stuntman, and Robert Culp of The Greatest Ame...Read more
Off we went to Comic-Con! We left Berkeley at 7pm and drove practically non-stop to San Diego. I did all the driving. I have no idea why. Maybe I was too tired to stop and let someone else drive. We arrived at Amberly’s father’s place at 3:30 AM and crashed until 6:00, went to the convention, got the run-around because we’re dumb kids and nobody likes us, and finally got our booth set up.
Another nap at Amberly’s dad’s place and we were off for preview night. We did pretty well for preview night, met a few folks who also made fil...Read more

Micah explains that they’re finalizing the audio for Dogs of Chinatown right now, and soon after they’ll be making screener DVDs that a few lucky so-and-sos (ME!) will get to see. Micah passed this new trailer along, and let me assure you, “best one yet” doesn’t begin to describe this incarnation. The music is legit, the dubbing sounds amazing, and there’s even some new action in there, stuff I’ve never seen. Blablabla you’re probably already watching it, not listening to me up here. Don’t miss the new poster below...Read more

John of The Stunt People Forum recently uploaded a 7 and a half minute-long tribute to The Stunt People. It’s largely a representation of the main members of our group in 2005. In it you’ll see many videos of old as well as some you’ve probably yet to see. I’ll soon be making a promo page for videos such as these. Thanks again, John!
Andy Coon of Final Cut Producer and documentarian/sound designer of “Dogs of Chinatown” recently held a podcast with me where he asked questions ranging from Stunt People history to current projects like SP’s upcoming “Skyward” and Micah Moore’s “Dogs of Chinatown”. It’s a two-part series, so [click here for part 1:
The latest Contour DVD from Indican has finally arrived! For just $14.99, you can own “one of the most exciting martial arts movies to come out of the West (Impact Magazine),” with fight scenes that are “fluid, varied, exciting and better than virtually anything to come out of Hong Kong in the last ten years (Dragon’s Den UK),” and besides, “It’s wicked (Ray Park).”
The best part: all your dollars go straight into The Stunt People bank account, which funds future projects and has supposedly paid a medical bill or two. Click...Read more
