HEAVY METAL trailer

Still working hard planning the  FISTFUL OF BLOOD film that I'm working on with Kevin Eastman. In the wake of all the research and planning I can't help but be wrapped up in fan boy nostalgia for the original HEAVY METAL film.

I saw HEAVY METAL when I was 12 in a theater in San Francisco with my best friend Dong Jin. I remember arguing about what film we should see because Chuck Norris had just released a film that was playing at the same time in the theater next door. Think it was Octagon. Nothing against Chuck but this was HEAVY METAL  the movie and I knew it was chuck full of animated sex and violence in space so I stood my ground and hoped I wasn't about to lose my only friend over this film.

A chance I was willing to take without question.

Dong Jin loved it of course. There was a wrongness about being in the theater at that age. Our parents had to give us permisision at the ticket booth. Snuck into OCTAGON anyway the same day!

Really looking forward to the new film that Kevin ,David Fincher and Zack Snyder are cooking up with Paramount.

One way ticket to midnight baby!
