STANLEY KUBRICK'S BOXES

Two years after Stanley Kubrick’s untimely death in 1999, British documentary filmmaker Jon Ronson was invited to Kubrick’s estate to explore the hundreds – perhaps even thousands – of boxes that the legendary director had collected during his decades at Childwick Manor in Hertfordshire, England. 

The folks at Channel 4 described the documentary as “a fascinating biography of a remarkably talented man, as seen through the rich collection of material he left behind.”  Any Kubrick fan would concur, I think.  At the very least, the documentary certainly sheds some light on what Kubrick was up to during the long stretches between his films.  Enjoy.
