Just wanted to keep the dialogue going on this movie just in case ya'll have forgotten about it. Inseparable is going to be a groundbreaking movie at least story wise for China. So far I haven't seen a modern story told in China like this and much less with the like of Kevin Spacey getting involved! This is also the first time we've had a two time Oscar winner act in a Chinese film. When's the release? Not sure but you'll be the first to know! Below is a pick of me and director Dayyan Eng my first day on set. It...Read more

I just finished my cameo in "Jian Dang Wei Ye" The Founding of The Party where I played the famous scholar Hu Shih. Remember my blog about my complaining about the mainland media thinking I was mixed? Well I think this picture resolves that. They even shaved my eyebrows down to t...Read more
When I first moved to Hong Kong, I could only afford a tiny little apartment that was smaller than my college dorm room. I think it was a little less than 200sq.ft. I thought that was small but I think this house takes the cake. Although it's probably bigger than my apartment was, it is a house and not an apartment. I think it would work if you were single but living with your Mom? Sleeping in the same room at 39 years old? I don't know about that. And those sinks look like they'd drive me crazy. It ...Read more
Tuesday's South China Morning Post headlined an article that really got me angry. The people of Hong Kong are the largest waste producers in the world! In the article it says that the average Hong Konger produces 921kg of waste annually which is more than twice as much as Japan(410kg) and Korea(380kg). That is sick and disgu...Read more
October 25, 2010 marks the death of Sony's iconic walkman. This is the official day that Sony has stopped production on this game changing device. Born in 1979 the Walkman lasted 31 years but with the invention of Discmans and mp3 players like the ipod, I think the Walkman has been in low demand for at least 10 years. Good bye Walkman you served us Gen-Xers well! ...Read more
Just a friendly reminder for all US citizens out there. VOTE! If you voted for Barrack Obama last election and you are looking for change and think you haven't seen it yet then that is even more reason for you to vote in this election. There a lot of places where people can not vote and are powerless. As an American you really should be exercising that special right. I've already turned in my absentee ballot. I've been watching the news about people who voted...Read more
The NBA regular season has officially started. Who's gonna take it this year? Is Miami's super team gonna make waves? Or are the Lakers going to take it for the thrid time in a row? How is Chinese American Jeremy Lin going to do in his rookie year with the Warriors? As you ponder these questions check out the amazing hook shot this "uncle" has. It's weird but kind of amazing at the same time. Too bad that one hand pass to himself would be considered a traveling violation.

Nothing beats old friends. You can't buy or fake a long lasting friendship. Tamara Guo is one of the first people I met in Hong Kong when I got here way back in 1997. She was a singer and actress in Hong Kong throughout the 90's and is still a very talented singer. In fact, she was the one who introduced me to Jackie C...Read more
When I was a kid my Mom forced me to play piano hoping I would be the next piano prodigy. Obviously it didn't work because I can't even remember how to read music anymore. I guess nowadays kids are being forced to rap. P-nut here is cute which is probably why he's got a fanbase. I think I'll force my son to DJ.
