Hey Folks,
Sorry I disappeared for a while, went to Beijing for the press conference regarding the commencement of our upcoming film 'Legendary Assassin' 狠牙之阿布
For those of you who are interested in the progress of the film, the links in English are on WuJing's website http://www.wu-jing.org/happenings/archives/540-Wu-Jing-Woos-His-Beijing-Wushu-Teammate-Kou-Zhan-Wen-with-Legendary-Assassin.html

I was honored to be given the opportunity to sing 曾經心痛 which was a lot of fun and the team over there took very good care of us :)
There's not more I can add to what has been said in the two links except that we are hoping to finish the film by October (fingers crossed)
Beijing is so different from it was last time I visited 4 years ago, there is a lot of anticipation for the Olympics to come, people are friendly, welcoming and very optimistic it seems. I went to 798 - an art gallery area and was highly impressed by the modern art there. The art overall, in my opinion, seems to reflect a refreshing, energising, and optimistic attitude amongst local artists. Unfortunately, I was unable to take photos inside the galleries, but I took some of the area as you will see below.
I had some amazin food in the short time that I was there, which I'd like to share with you, in case you ever visit. On our first night there, we went to a really really beautiful and delicious restaurant called Wish 梧桐 which served an array of fusion/international dishes that are easily comparable to the ones I've been to in London.
On our second night we went to a very different restaurant called 烤 shall I say - where we had 烤全羊whole roasted lamb, it sounds grotesque to some BUT the meat was so ridiculously tasty it made me think of regressing back to caveman days where people would huddle up around the fire and share their hunting successes. As strange as that sounds! It was a really unique, fun and unforgettable experience, something you will never experience in the west!
The 四川 sichuan cuisine in Beijing is so so good too, the 水煮魚 (not sure if that's how you write it) was to die for, apologies for forgetting to take photos, it was that good!
Ok enough about food now, I'm getting hungry at the mere thought. Gonna hit the gym big time in the week to come :)
Here are some miscellaneous photos I took with some friends, Nicky, and ones from the plane :)
