Phorgun, Japan has been around for 10 years now.
It’s one of the most respected shops in Tokyo and although the shop is tiny, they carry the illest selection carefully hand picked by the owner Mabo Sato AKA Mr. Sugar.
To mark their 10 year anniversary, they got one of the most influential street artists in Japan and my personal favorite, kami to paint the exterior of the shop.

Last Sunday we had an Extremely Sorry DVD showing at Youth Outreach. For those that never heard of Youth Outreach, it’s a place for kids to hang out and get off the streets.
Many of these social workers (special thanks to Mini and Tet) will go around and invite kids that don’t have anywhere to go and are having problems with drugs and help them to turn their lives around.

Never saying NO to any opportunity to promote skateboarding especially when it’s at schools, myself, Warren Stuart (hkskateboarding.com), Kit (HKit), Chun Chai (8FIVE2 rider), Chris B, Piet, Dani (8FIVE2 crew), A Men and Wai (HKit) came and performed.

I’ve mentioned several times and I’ma mention it again, Mr Danny Reyes, the dude behind the brand LOVEWRIGHT came out super proper again with his HOLIDAY 2009 Collaboration s/s tee shirts; The Hundreds, Commune, Eevl Goose and Chase Tafoya. All these 4 companies did an amazing great job on graphics. Respect.
Don’t sleep, whenever you are at your local store, ask for LOVEWRIGHT, make sure they carry it.
