Last Sunday we had an Extremely Sorry DVD showing at Youth Outreach. For those that never heard of Youth Outreach, it’s a place for kids to hang out and get off the streets.
Many of these social workers (special thanks to Mini and Tet) will go around and invite kids that don’t have anywhere to go and are having problems with drugs and help them to turn their lives around.
At the Youth Outreach facilities they can play basketball, video games, computer games, have computer access, ping pong and also skateboarding.
8FIVE2 & Family tries to work closely with Youth Outreach whenever possible and do what we can.
Anyway, the DVD showing went really well. A lot of influential skateboarders in Hong Kong showed up to support.
8FIVE2SHOP also provided pizza along with a Game of S K A T E and the newly done in HK, Skate or Dice game after the DVD. Everyone had so much fun, lots of laughter.
Again, Chun Chai won the Game of S K A T E, he’s truly an amazing skateboarder. One important thing about Chun Chai is that, whenever he does his tricks, he does them nice and proper.
Definitely THANK YOU to VANS (for giving shoes), FLIP for giving out decks, posters and stickers, hkskateboarding.com for spreading the word, Youth Outreach for the place and support. Of course, 8FIVE2SHOP for support and promoting skateboarding since 1999, yes, we are 10 years deep and still going strong!
