Team News - Wimobilize McElrea hosts Australia trip for partnersThe month of August will be a busy month for the Wimobilize McElrea Racing Team.For the first time since the teams founding, McElrea Racing will be hosting a driving programme for the partners and sponsors of the Wimobilize squad. The driving will take place over 4 days in Queensland, Australia, from August 6-10 and will involve different levels of driver training in Porsche vehicles. This course will involve 4 levels, spanning across a wide variety of skills including seating position, accelerator and brake application, steering input, cornering, and later on, circuit driving. The cars used will also be the whole array from the current Porsche range. This includes the all new 911 Turbo and the new 997 GT3 MkII.Singaporean driver Yuey Tan has only ever visited the Mt Cotton Driver Training programme for his training prior to his entrance into the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. “It’s an excellent programme and I am so glad that all of the boys have the opportunity to go and experience what I have experienced before.
