Team News - TIN TIN partners Yuey Tan for the Singapore GP

TIN TIN Shop, Singapore and Singaporean race driver Yuey Tan, have secured a deal prior to the Singapore GP that will see Tin Tin and Snowy appear on the race car for the remainder of the 2011 season.

The new presence of Tin Tin in a major way, began in Singapore two years ago with the launch of Singapore's first TIN TIN Shop. Since the opening of this enchanting establishment, the demand for all things Tin Tin have soared massively, showing the lovable character is here to stay.

The TIN TIN Shop in Singapore is located at 56 Pagoda St, Chinatown and has just about anything to do with Tin Tin ranging from clothes, figures and books on the Belgian comic character. With the TIN TIN feature film some two months away from release, it seems that Tin Tin has his strongest Singaporean days ahead of him.

The new car design will make its debut at the Singapore GP weekend, from September 23rd to 25th and will be driver by Singaporean driver, Yuey Tan.

"I am really pleased that this partnership came out well for both the TIN TIN Shop in Singapore and the McElrea Racing team. It is a comic that I first read as a young child and its great to see that Tin Tin is still as strong as ever. To have Tin Tin and Snowy running on the streets of the Singapore GP is going to be fantastic, and I'll be there right with them. That is pretty cool," commented Tan.
