GT3 Carrera Cup Car vs. GT3 RS Road Car - Fifth Gear

Video: http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHHR-miiD-c Hey guys. Here is an absolutely fantastic video, outlining the differences in the GT3 road and race car variants. This video is taken off the British Show, Fifth Gear.

Although the difference in the two cars is not as much as it may seem, remember that the length of the circuit is extremely short, been clocked in not much over one minute. If the two cars were on a Formula 1 Circuit, this gap will be more than 15 seconds.

still, 5 seconds is only like a 10% difference. I wonder if you switched out the tires and took out a bit of weight how the road car would have done.

Heh yeah mate! This is true. 10% can be a large difference in racing. For example, in F1, the first and last car must qualify within 113% or the cars outside of the window cant start as they are too slow! If you lightened the car by 100kg, maybe only a second! With slick tyres, another second plus i reckon! So that would make the cars pretty close. Lastly, reckon Tiff quite hasnt got the hang of driving the Cup Car on the limit (for one time), but has great ability in a road car
