Wushu performance in my hometown Liaoning chaoyang 北京武术队走进了我的家乡辽宁朝阳

2008年07月12日，我再次回到了我的家乡辽宁朝阳。但是这次我带回了我们北京武术队男子一线的全部队员。这次北京武术队之行主要是为了“中蒙俄国际汽车拉力大赛”的开幕式进行武术表演。我很激动，这是我第一次带着我们北京武术队回到了我的家乡表演。可以说这也是北京队第一次来到东北地区的大型演出。

可能跟今天的地震有关系，我们家那边的天气变得“喜怒无常”！偏偏就在我们表演的那天早晨，下起了大雨。说来也奇怪，朝阳这座佛教之城还真是块宝地。还好菩萨保佑，开幕式表演定在九点开始...那么厚的云层，那么大的雨，突然之间放晴了。而且是那样的蓝天白云！跟之前的天气完全是相反的！太神奇了！不过由于早晨下的雨实在太大，原来在操场上搭建起来的舞台一下被淋的全都是水。我们的武术表演队动作的要求很高，难度也很大。很多动作是不能在有水的地方练的。所以我们卢教练的建议下，干脆把舞台给拆了。。。我们平时训练和比赛时用的场地是武术专用的地毯，很有弹性，都是特制的。我们还从来没有在草坪上表演过！

不过北京队就是北京队，我们临时改变动作，换人，调整队形，所有的调整用了不到5分钟的时间。这都是集体的力量，只要团结一致的去做事情，我相信任何困难将变得不再困难！在这次表演中，我们不但克服了表演场地硬的问题，而且可以说是超长水平发挥，包括我们与音乐的配合都是相当的完美。我们是在体育场上表演，观众距离我们很远，但是我们仍然能够听到从观众席上传来的阵阵掌声，呐喊声！我很自豪的说，北京武术队这次在朝阳的武术表演，可以说是非常的成功。再此也要感谢家乡父老们对我们北京武术队的热情与支持！！！

On july 12th 2008 I returned to my home town, Liaoning. I was really excited becuase it was my  first time performing in my hometown with the Beijing wushu team. We performed at the opening celebration of a cross county auto race.  

The weather in my hometown was very strange. It was raining constantly. I think this may have been becuase of the earthquake in Sichuan. On the morning of our performance it was raining especially hard. Our performance venue was a stage outside. Even though it was raining we were told we still had to perform.  For those of you who don't know, Chaoyang is rich in buddhist culture. Roughly 15 minutes before the performance, as if a gift from buddha, the rain suddenly stopped! It was amazing. The stage was still very wet, however the ground under the stage was perfectly dry. We decided to move the stage, and perform on the ground where the stage had been. The Beijing team is not used to performing on the ground. We generally have carpets to perform on. However the Beijing team is still the Beijing team. We got together and changed the entire perfomance to fit the circumstances in less than 5 minutes. The performance was a great success.

We performed very far away from the spectators of the race, but we could still hear the crowd cheering for us. I want to thank everyone who supported us. Thank you so much. I miss Chaoyang.
