Olloclip iPhone4 lens

I found this fun little lens for the iPhone4; its a 3-in-1 lens, Macro, Wide Angle & a Fish-eye; all in one neat little snap on package. On One side is the fish-eye, on the other side is the x2 wide angle; if you unscrew the wide angle attachment, it becomes a macro lens.

Makes taking snaps on your iPhone REALLY FUN; especially for shooting Skateboarding video clips; here I have my iphone4 with the Olloclipfisheye lens paired with the Gliff- a tripod mount & stand for your iPhone 4.

I could either mount this on a tripod, or here I made a filming rig with a cheap handle I bought in Shamshuipo Apliu street, it has a padded handle with a mount for a light if you need one. The handle is perfect for chase shots on your skateboard. Together with the iMovie app on your iphone, you can now shoot, edit & upload right away. FuXin’ Fun as FuXk!

Back to the fisheye; here is a shot of the apple store a couple days ago… I love this pic & how the fisheye captured the glass ceiling & the staircase.

Macro shots are amazing too.. with the macro lens, it opens up a whole other micro world for iphoneography – here is a shot of water droplets on my cup at Triple-O’s the same day I went to the Apple store.

So, how much does this thing cost? It’s US$99 & there is a bit of discount if you order more than one. Its totally worth it for the quality of the lens & results it produces. The only downside is that it won’t fit over your iphone case, & even if you have those screen & back protector films, it gets tricky to slide one on without damaging your protector film. I took mine off, I figured having the ability to shoot with this lens outweighs having a protector film. Oh, the OTHER downside is that the iPhone5 /4S should be out really soon… wonder if Olloclip will make one for the new iphones.

Must buy if you are into iphoneography &/or an INSTAGRAM head.
