Know1edge Spring/Summer 2009 Catalog

A couple of weeks ago, my good friend JBS calls me & askes me to be in his upcoming Know1edge Catalog; Gihoon was in town,  so he & I were going to be featured in this catalog.

The next day, we all hooked up, together with Han Sol ,  another good friend from Korea who was the photographer for the shoot with Brian & Annie directing.

Brian & Annie decked me out in some of the freshest Know1edge gear I’ve seen!  I totally did not expect to fit in to this style & ‘look’, but Brian & Annie had this vision way before I even knew it.  The look worked out really well & I’m PSYCHED.   Props & respect to Brian & Annie, no doubt heavyweights in the street wear scene.

Not only was I comfortable in the clothes, Brian & Annie did a great job of making me feel natural & at ease, since I’m usually the guy ‘behind’ the lens, & I’m completely clueless about being ‘in front of’ the camera.

Well, 2 days ago when I stopped by 8Five2, I was super psyched to see the catalog out in print.   I sent a copy to my mom for kicks & she said she could not even recognize me at first, but she was surprised.

As with Know1edge’s previous collections, this collection is DOPE, my favorites are the denim jeans (M Lau & Tao, named after some good friends) & the pants & fedora hats you see me wearing in the pics above.

Thanks again to Brian & Annie, it was my pleasure & honor to be in the catalog!  It was also great fun to work with you, Gihoon & Han Sol!
