This is crazy.
It is hilarious when you first look at it but when it is your house or your friend's house, it's not so funny after all.
My poor friend cannot go in to get his clothes or things that he might need. Even his car is stuck in there. That's alot of insurance to claim. And if the house collapses (foundation is shaken), and the car is crushed, there's more insurance to claim.
Sounds good? New house (or at least newly re-built), and new car and possibily assets and liabilities in the house? Well, not so good when you've got nowhere to stay the next few ... well however long it takes.... yikes. Guess the construction company's gotta pay for housing somehow too.
