Spotlight =)

Thanks AnD for featuring my profile in the Spotlight! (14th September - noon onwards)

Just to round up some updates, just finished the two crocs shoots over Thursday and Friday.  The pictures might come in about Wednesday.. so Rottendoubt, hang in there, them pictures are coming! :)

I am not sure how many of you (those from Singapore) caught the telefeature "Sweet Dreams and Turtle Soup" in 2004.  If you have read my profile, SDTS was the first ever acting gig that I done and I was really fortunate to have gotten the lead in it.

The reason why I am bringing this up again after all these years is because my director (of SDTS), Mabel Gan-Millians informed me recently that SDTS will be shown on Sinema.sg!  After nearly 4 years of sitting in the shelves, it is resurfacing!   As soon as we get a rating from MDA (Media Development Authority), Sinema.sg will be able to give us a date for screening!  Yay!

SDTS was part of a series of locally produced HD-movies deput on MediaCorp TV Channel 5 - 1st Cut.  Four movies, each focusing on different genres - drama, horror, comedy and romantic comedy, SDTS found its focus on drama.

"Sweet Dreams &Turtle Soup is a coming-of-age story about a girl who believes that doing well in the O'level exams is her only path to happiness. Unfortunately, her mother thinks otherwise and she is forced to help out in the family's turtle soup stall. It is a touching story about the conflict between a young person's own needs and those of the family and the relationship between a mother and daughter. It stars Xiang Yun in her first English speaking role and actress Stephanie Loh in her first film debut."

So the movie should be able to be screened sometime in the next month or so, and I will update you as soon as I get more information.  There will be a 'meet the cast' session so I think it will be loads of fun!
