CNY HAPPY HAPPY

holy talkin' about fireworks frenzy....for all who don't know...chinese people like to go nuts with the fireworks over the course of the festive CNY....i know we were the ones who invented gunpowder (plus an assortment of other brilliant inventions...we're mad smart)...but still...how do people expect people to sleep....no joke tho......it started yesterday around 6-7pm yesterday night...all the way up until maybe around 2-3pm...this afternoon....im talking continuous...non stop....

now i know what i kinda feels like to be living in the middle of a war zone....air raids...and high mobility artillery guided missiles....it was crazy....doesn't help that im on the 22nd floor...along with the noise i also get the full multi-colored glittering illuminations that is temporary blinding....do i sound bitter? i'm just cranky from the lack of sleep

i did manage to capture some shots of people lightin up some shit around my neighborhood...and yo some of these guys are champions...fearless..they would hold like what seems like a ton of raw explosives in their hand, light the wick and throw it like milliseconds before blowing up...not even a flinch...even when someone miss times it by a little and shit blows up by their feet...they shrug it off like no biggie...dude...crazy mofo's...their READY TO DIE man....we need more soilders like tha running tha streets...hah....so here...enjoy the pics....some of them are whack cause being the chicken shit bastard that i am...i was using my super zoom lens and far away from any immediate danger...it was either that i or i was shooting it through my double glassed apartment window...
