MUSIC RECORDIN' and VIDEO MAKIN'

This past weekend, Derrick and I shot the music video to our first ever single, Where Do We Go (Where is Home.)  You can get all the details here at Derrick's blog.

First off, mad props to JUN KUNG and DON CRUZ for creating a masterful track (Jun is also a JEDI in all things music....seriously the baddest mofo in Hong Kong, if not the world).

Below, you can see Jun schooling us on music.

We actually recorded a rough mix first, re-worked it and then went to a professional studio to put some finishing touches.  Apparently, this pretty famous guy records here, too.

Derrick's head exploded when I told him that I had no idea who that was.

THen we went into production mode.  The first shot of the weekend (Friday) was with the one and only, Jun.

Then when Derrick wasn't filming me, and I wasn't filming Derrick, we had the Voracious Vince Matthew Chung and the Cunning Chung Tsang, help us with our shots.

We were also SUPER blessed to have a bunch of friends come out and support and be awesome!

By this time, It was already Saturday night.  Derrick and I went straight into POST PRODUCTION!  Derrick was actually cutting the remix version while I was cutting the official version.  CRAZY INSANE!

We were scheduled to go see the new WOLVERINE movie, but we were so pumped about the video, that we wanted to skip it!  (Unfortunately, it probably would have been better if we did.  I'm sure Derrick will blog about it soon...)

Anyway,  all in all a FABULOUS weekend, and what I hear, if you guys are REAL lucky, you might get a sneak peek of the vid at the ALIVE not DEAD 2nd Anniversary party! 

Finally, saving the best for last....we got to work with the dopest dance crew, BEAT TRIX. 

They came out and helped us rep our hip hop roots to the fullest.  See them in action here.
