Macau 09 Sam Hui show @ Venetian Hotel part 1

This last week was CRAZY!  We took a trip to Macau a few days early to enjoy the food and sight see before performing at the Venetian with my dad.  The show was a success and most of the hardcore fans stayed all the way through...including the masters of AnD rottendoubt,  Etchy and Stephen! 

上個星期真係好癲呀!我地係同dad開show前兩日,先到達澳門週圍食野同睇野. prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /

演唱會好成功呀,好多忠實粉絲全程投入,仲包括AnD既首腦rottendoubt,  Etchy同Stephen! 

Let's see how it all started...

就睇下我地旅程既開始啦~~

Yea, we got special treatment from the Hotel...thanks to all the staff at the Venetian.  They were all awesome.  Here we got travel in our own van (a total of 3 for the entire group) and on our way to check into the hotel.

冇錯,我地得到酒店既特別安排,真係要多謝威尼斯人既各位員工.佢地真係冇得頂.我地就係坐係呢架私家van入面啦(總共有成3部架!),準備向酒店出發~

Now, we couldn't check in right away so when we did arrive the first thing we did was eat and shop.

由於我地到埗後唔可以即刻check-in ,所以我地第一件事可以做既就係食野同shopping呀!

The streets were really crowded.  Justin looks damn happy while I look a little pissed trying to move in and out of the crowd. hahaha.  What's with the muscle dude?

條街真係超多人. Justin我似好鬼開心咁,但係我就為左要逼住黎行有少少唔耐煩呀. Hahaha.個大隻佬搞乜呢?

We managed to squeeze in a group shot right in the middle of the plaza.  Family and crew!

Another group shop as we make our way up to a half ass built old school church thing.  Hey, I just follow the group, I really have no idea where we are or what that structure is...I'll get back to you after I wiki it. 

另一幅團體相,呢度係我一地向上行,去呢個好似起到一半既舊式學校定係教堂既東西.喂~我只係跟住大隊架咋,我真係唔知我地去緊邊同埋呢幢係乜野黎架.我’維基’下之後會話返俾你地知.

See, told ya its only half...  There is no indoor or walls, just the front.  What's up with that? Can you see us?

拿,都話左得一半架啦.係冇入面或者牆,只係得前面架咋.究竟搞乜鬼呢?見唔見到我地係上面呀?

That's better.  呢個好d.

Making our way back down the stairs.  Justin thinking about all you girls on AnD...me pouting my lips cause my heels still hurt like hell and that muscle dude whose protecting all of us.  Dad is thinking "what the hell are you morons doing".

正在行緊落樓梯途中, Justin諗緊所有AnD的女仔啦!我揙緊咀因為我隻腳痛到死,仲有個大隻佬就負責保護我地. Dad應該係度諗緊’你班蠢材係度做緊乜呀?’

Time to check in as we squeeze ourselves in the lift of the Venetian.  Justin is pleased he can fit.

終於去check-in啦~我地全部人迫入一部’車立’ . Justin好開心佢迫得入.

The rooms were all insane.  Probably one of the craziest places I've stayed at.  Seems everybodys favorite was the welcoming toilet seat.  When you walked into the bathroom the lid opened up ready for you to shit on...I mean sit on.  I'm saving that for the video.

間房簡直係痴線,呢度可算係我到過既酒店中最癲既一間.好似個個都係最鍾意個會歡迎你既坐廁.當你行入洗手間個時,廁蓋會自動打開等你屙….係等你坐.我會幫坐廁拍到video架.

They've really outdone themselves with the decor.  Makes my place look like a dump.

酒店既裝修好靚架.相比下,搞到我屋企好似好核突咁!

After checking in we spent the rest of the day checking out the hotel...which is massive.  We got lost way too many times.  Just look at the face of my Uncle Ricky and Mr.Ass on the phone, even together we're already walking in three different directions. 

The next day was really nutz.  Something I really didn't expect to do.  First we headed out to the Sky Tower.

Check in之後,我地就係酒店四週圍行吓…..超大!成日都會行錯路.睇下Uncle Ricky個樣同埋講緊電話既Mr Ass,雖然一齊行,但係我地3個有各自既方向.

第2日簡直’近’呀~真係我意料之外!首先,我地去到觀光塔.

Helloooo from way up here.  Actually it was really fun.  I was pretty suprised when I leaped off I felt ready for it and comfortable.  Looking down is no problem...looking up is what gets me.  palms start to sweat

你~地~~好~呀~~.其實真係好好玩架.出奇地當我跳出去時,我覺得我已做好心理準備,而且好自由自在.向下望完全冇問題,但係向上望就……手心開始出汗(-_-!)

I survived!

Next time I'm coming back to Bunjow..I mean bungeeeeee jump!

After the all the fun we headed back and found the most famous spot for Egg tarts. 

下次返去我要玩’賓周’….應該係’笨豬’跳!

一輪刺激之後,我地去左萄tart好出名既地方.

I was tempted to swim across, buy some copy dvds, then swim back.  I know I wouldn't have been caught.   Anyway, I chickened out.

我都想游過去買d’番梘’,跟住游返黎,應該冇事既,都係唔好啦!我怕怕呀!

We continued to eat some more and before we knew it, it was time to work.

不知不覺間,工作既時間又到啦~

Rehearsal time!  I was really impressed with the mic and the earphone monitor.  Usually the techies have to adjust so many levels of sound so that I can actually hear what I'm singing to, but in this situation it was all good and perfect. 

彩排時間!今次個咪同埋個ear-mon真係好正呀!通常佢地要較好耐,先至可以調教到我聽到自己唱乜,但係今次一開就得啦!

That night after rehearsals we all decided to head down to a LEGAL area where you can set off fireworks.  It's like only one spot, so if you've ever watched "Saving Private Ryan's" opening battle then you know what to expect.  In this situation I was really "Saving Ryan's Private"

彩排完之後既晚上,我地一齊去左一個合法既地方放煙花.好似得一個地方咋,當你睇完"Saving Private Ryan's"既’戰火’之後,你就想像到當時既情形.其實我都有份"Saving Ryan's Private"架.

check out Ryans most recent blog http://www.alivenotdead.com/ryanhui/CNY+Fireworks+Macau+Style--profile-485407.html about this crazy place.  I'm happy to report that none of us got seriously injured.  The only thing that got damaged was my HD camera (many of the shots cut away leaving it choppy).  I think it was due to a combination of sound loudness (it was ear piercing the entire time) and getting layered in the smoke and ash.  I do have some footage and saved it just for you guys to see. A sacrifice well worth it.
