Last Saturday we went to watch Paul Wong and Ka Keung tear up the HK Coliseum with their "This is Rock & Roll" concert. It was a great show with both rock legends starting everything off with Beyond songs and then taking turns showcasing their individual hits. The guest that night was Anthony Wong and Jim Lee was the sound engineer. Easily the best sound setup I've ever heard at the coliseum and the loudest too @twitter.comRyan Hui@Facebook Paul and Ka Keung came out hella loud blasting through some kick @ss songsA shot taken from further back. It was cool watching all the diehard fans sing along and pump their fists like there was no tomorrow.Anthony Wong joined in halfway through the show and sang a couple of classic Beyond songs.Hanging with Kolor backstage. Sammy and the guys were also signing their new CDs that came out last week. SupportThe night before I went to the Fringe club to watch Desmond Pang colloborate with violinist Hom Lo. It was the second part of their Volino series and they did great playing Desmond's songs with a classical twist. Last night we went to watch our good friends Rubberband play with Mister at Kowloon Bay. Here's Kelvin and Clement getting focused and ready for the gig...haha.Group cheer before they hit the stage to a sold out crowd. This was my first time seeing Rubberband play since their new EP came out last week so it was cool hearing the new tunes live.Mister X Rubberband! I thought that the way the bands took turns with their own songs then came together to do a bunch of english plus chinese hits made the experience unique. It was also fun watching them play each other's material in different ways.
