This week we got more vocal tracks done and hopefully the next single will be out in a few weeks for you guys to check out. In the meantime I added the english version of 天下不亂 called "Right Now" to the my AND profile (thanks Etchy!) so click on the play button to give it a go. By the way, Josie's album just came out so go buy it and support local HK music.....
Got to watch Kanye for the second time last week and it was nice being so close to the stage and watching with so many friends around. AnD represent, yo!
I was really excited to see N.E.R.D. since I have a couple of their albums and loved "Fly or Die." They did not disappoint at all. Their mix of rap, rock, punk, funk made them the best hip-hop act I've ever seen live!
During their set the Olsen twins popped up on stage and so did our friend Peter. But what really tripped me out was when I looked to my right and saw Andre300! The Outcast "Hey Ya" Andre3000!
After Kanye's part was the big finale along with Nigo's Teriyaki Boys and Pharrell!
All in all the show was really good and probably the best hip-hop line up in my book. That's unless A Tribe Called Quest came back and had The Roots and Digable Planets support.....
A few days later a bunch of us went and checked out the new skate park at Tai Wo Hau (Tseun Wan). It has two pyramids with lots of steps and handrails plus it's way easy to get to on the MTR. Here's my skate mag pic....thanks Warren!
Lee Hawk ripping it up with his smooth style. Check out his skate and mountain bike blog here.
Sir JBS! Tim O'connor's funniest person in the world!
Taking a break while Warren and Brian get more shots.
Earlier that week we also hit up the mini ramp in Chai Wan and had a good old ramp session. Nigel was pulling some dope tricks and tough me how to feeble to fakie.
Andy Lee was the king of the ramp with big airs and wild tricks. He made everything look so easy!
Brian getting some ramp action.
I got my fakie blunts back! So happy.....and sore....
