Last night I got to see my favorite female artist Bjork play and it was amazing! This was my second time watching her play (the first time was in San Diego, California back in 96) and it was so cool being able to see her so close up. She sings with so much passion it was insane. If you ever get a chance to see her play don't pass it up! Have a good weekend everyone....
Got to catch up with some friends and watch 24 Herbs drop some rhymes at the Adidas/Diesel party a few days ago. It was packed but well worth it after watching Terence join the pillow fight in the window display!
Last week I also got to support Audiotraffic for their "Livehouse" episode. Check out their CD release party on the 8th and buy their new album!
Josie is rocking Star Hall sunday night so go get your glam trashing on!
Medicom came out with the busters! These guys are the mascot of my all time favorite Japanese rock band The Pillows. I tried to stop collecting be@rbricks but I couldn't resist...aah!
Records of the week: Face to Face's "Econo live" 10-inch record and Elliot Smith's "Waltz #2" on 7-inch. Face to Face was the second punk rock band I ever listened to and I have the best memories going to their shows with my friends and watching them play with NOFX, No Use for a Name, MXPX, Green Day, Strung Out, and Rancid. Listening to them just makes me want to play loud. The Elliot Smith single has the unreleased instrumental "Our Thing" that I've never heard before so it was a pleasant surprise. Thanks ebay!
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGa29kPBbp4Being in HK I sure miss US late night shows like Conan O'Brian and Kimmel. Check out this clip where Jimmy Kimmel gets back at Sarah Silverman with help from everyone from Joan Jett, Brad Pitt, to Perry Farrell !! Funny Stuff. Perry's wife Etty is also on Alivenotdead too!
