(from SUNSHINE, a fine fine film by Danny Boyle)
I just learned that the commercial I recently shot for SUNSHINE Lighting is currently doing the rounds in Hong Kong.
So I did a bit of googling and found the print ad on their website
Check it out, it's my first commercial Beefcake shot!
And here's where I'm reminded of the old Wendy's tag: Where's the Beef?
The print campaign and TVC was all shot in one day at this AMAZING mansion up in the mountains somewhere in Tsuen Wan.
Yep, you too can shoot on location for a measly 10,000/ day
It was a whirlwind set up of hopping from one side of the mansion to shoot the TVC then skipping over to the other side to get the still photos in for the print campaign.
At one point, one of the photographer's assistant decided I wasn't cut enough and suggested that perhaps I should get some baby oil and slather myself with the stuff.
His thought pattern consisted of:
OIL plus FLESH equals BAD ASS MOFO
Hmmm, that possibly could have been the case if I actually used baby oil.
But fate would have it that they only have corn oil in the kitchen so the final outcome came out to this:
CORN OIL plus FLESH equals BAD SMELLING CHINESE FOOD MAN
Put some SUNSHINE into your life
(shameless plug that I'm not even getting paid for)
