I woke up and finally felt my jet lag was over. In the afternoon, I went to RTHK and did a taping session with Kam Kwok Leung, someone I've looked up to since I was a kid. I felt very honored to be interviewed by him... and it was probably one of my best interviews in Cantonese. He really knew how to steer me in the right direction of the conversation. The interview will play this Sunday at 11:30PM on RTHK 1's "See Through."
I am grateful that he has been very supportive to both me and my documentary. Kam constantly amazes me with his unlimited and multiplicity of talent. In fact, he has just done a French song in Mandarin called "Delicate Arrangement" produced by PeopleMountainPeopleSea:
After that, I barely did an hour at the gym, chowed down a salad at Starbucks and met up with Victoria to go the Wing Shya opening.
I was pretty amazed by Wing Shya's gigantic body of work. It was intensely beautiful and extensively diverse. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera so I couldn't take photos at the exhibition. I also checked out the new cool music videos made by anD artists in the interactive room. Very neat.
We went upstairs for the party where 24 Herbs performed. It was my first time watching them play... quite an eye opening experience =) I'm so excited that hip hop is finally happening in Hong Kong!
