i love beginnings too. the possibilities and potential is this all time high that pumps adrenaline. :)

Designing anything in the visual arts can be a matter timing. It is always interesting to look back a few years and see what designers were doing (not just what became a trend or was promoted by the commercial arm of the industry) in any given year. It is amazing that what, a few years later, became THE trend, was already visible in the work or one or more designers who, for some reason, didn't end up launching the trend, even though they first took the concept and made it into a physical object. Sometimes they even do it better than the designer who gets the credit for launching the new trend. Those are cases of timing--the eye of the trendsetters just wasn't ready for the difference that was being proposed. It didn't look "right" yet, even though, when enough time had passed, it became "right". Designing anything that is supposed to be imbued with style is always a crap shoot. Sometimes the best ideas are simply ahead of their time. Happy designing. It sounds like you're planning to play and have some fun. Nice when you can do that. May you launch the next change in direction in fashion. Its funny that we never know exactly when this occurs, except in retrospect. Maybe you've already done it, and you just don't know it, yet. :-)
