You may not be aware that Master Chow Keung is actually the “Si Dai” (i.e. the younger learner brother) of another classic kungfu movie icon CHEN KUAN TAI ! Tai Shing Pek Kwar- aka Monkey Kung-fu , is a mystical martial art originated in prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /China around1850's. Both Chen and Chow are students of this style of kung fu.
In 1977, Chen Kuan Tai had written, directed and starred in a movie calledTHE IRON MONKEY even against the strong objection of the Shaw Brothers Studio. According to him, it was because of h is strong personal feelings for the founder and the origin of this specific style of kung fu. However, this movie had gotten him into a long legal battle with Shaw Brothers later on... Following are a couple of short clips of Chen in THE IRON MONKEY (1977):
