As a film-enthusiast, he has in recent years ventured into making short films, besides hosting pod cast programmes and contributing to film review web sites on the side. Cheung graduated in 2005 from the School of Film and Television of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in film directing. 1981年生於香港，自幼醉心於電影，求學時期曾創辦電影評論網頁，並熱衷於短片拍攝。2005年畢業於香港演藝學院電影電視學院，主修導演。現熱心於港片研究，主持網上電台電影節目與致力爭取拍攝個人作品的機會。
