My New Life

I am having so much fun with the teaching for pole dancing!!!   I was so nervous on Friday since it was my first day....but, the ladies were all VERY nice and enthusiastic to learn.  I had a full class and it was hard to even help everyone in the class....a little overwhelming, actually.  Because, I'm concentrating so much on helping one person that I don't realize the others are standing around.  I guess, I just really want everyone to actually learn how to do everything correctly.  But, with a class of 21 and only 7 poles..meaning....3 people have to share some of the poles, it's a little too difficult and time consuming to focus too much on one person...so...Sat, I learned my lesson....and I think the class enjoyed it more because I taught them more things. It's really tough being a teacher...you are expected to perfect each thing you teach...AND you have to have personality to attract the class to come back...AND you have to be more like a leader to the class...which I normally am not!  But....there is a feeling of satisfaction that you get once you know that there are some students who are really having fun with it!  But, also, another fear that some people didn't..hahahah....I guess, we'll see!  I'm still learning..but, I think this teaching experience is definitely good for me. It's going to be a treat to see my students improve AND gain more confidence....it's my new life...hahaha

As for tonight, I am VERY excited.  Cousin Lawrence came in from Shanghai for rehearsals yesterday, and we had a great rehearsal....ate wonderful food at Peter's place...which I will remember forever!!!  It's going to be a fun show...hope most of you have time to come!!!
